How to Detail Faded Paint by Hand (Paint Correction)

Datum objavljivanja: 22. Ožu 2020.
Learn how to detail a car with faded, scratched, paint. I will show you how to do paint correction by hand, how to remove swirl marks, how to restore faded trim, how to restore headlights, and finally how to fix sun damaged paint. I got this car for $500 and it wasn't running and was super dirty. Now the car runs and looks dripping wet!

  • Hopefully you guys like the video! It's basically 4-5 videos in one with tons of info on how to get your car clean! So we can avoid the same comments over and over, check the description for all the links! Also, yes, ChrisFish is me, and not an impostor. It is my second channel I will start this year for when I go fishing, which I love to do. It is my way of still "working" and not feeling bad about going out fishing instead of filming, editing, or answering comments. Now I can do both! Here is the detailing products I used: Ceramic Coating: Compound: Polish: Wax/Sealant: Buffing Microfiber Pad:

  • Watch the video yesterday, I bought everything today. Getting ready to do do it RN. Thanks a lot for the demonstration and tips, I appreciate it a lot man.

  • Your video is amazing and gives me hope in restoring my paint! However, I have a question in figuring out which direction to go. I have a clear coat on my car, but it's extremely eaten up, to the point that it's bubbled and in some places completely gone. But the paint is still there and no primer is showing. I want to assess if the compound would work the way it worked for you or if it would just do more damage than good. I know you said the clear coat was very oxidized, but I couldn't tell from the video how oxidized. Was it oxidized to the point that it had virtually no clear coat, was the clear coat eaten away in parts, or was the clear coat completely intact, just super faded as well?

  • I am very happy to watching your channel because I learn a lot from you. Thank you so much for the high-quality clear explanation and recording.
